A skilfull, hard-hitting partnership of 40 between Dickinson (19 not out) and Moederle-Lumb (16 not out) saw Bramjcote home to a comfortable 8 wicket victory in this low scoring match on a lively Scarborough wicket.
Earlier, Fyling Hall had won the toss and elected to bat first, but they were restricted to 45, using just 15 of their available 20 overs.
All the bowlers contributed: Needler 3 for 14, Moederle-Lumb 2 for 4, Dickinson 2 for 6, Salvin 2 for 7 and Warwick 1 for 6 were the wicket takers, and they were backed up by some very good ground fielding and some reliable catching. Salvin, Andrews and man of the match Moederle-Lumb (two) held their chances, as the visitors slumped dramatically from 42 for 5 to 45 all out.
There was a wobble at the start of the reply when openers Andrews and Salvin failed to trouble the scorers, but the match ended with Moederle-Lumb hitting 9 off the 9th over, and victory was achieved in style.
