The U11 rounders team played Lyndhurst today at home. We fielded well in the first innings but gave away too many ^1/₂ rounders allowing their total to rise to 9. We then batted okay and took chances when we could and scored 5 rounders. In the second innings our fielding was tight and much better, however Lyndhurst once again picked up too many ^1/₂ rounders through our mistakes rather than good batting. We batted quite well in the second innings. The final score was 16^1/₂ - 10 to Lyndhurst.
