1st VII V Queen Margaret's U12 A won 12 - 4

The 1st Netball girls made a strong start to their game against Queen Margaret's, taking the lead with some fast centre court play and some accurate shooting from Olivia and Emily. The girls moved the ball quickly from defence when Miranda and Victoria used their height advantage to regain possession from an attempted shot at goal by the QM shooters. After some position changes at quarter time the Bramcote girls took a while to get used to their new positions and were unable to get the ball into the circle for a shot, with no goals scored by either team in the quarter. The QM girls really put the pressure on with some close marking and some excellent interceptions. In the third quarter Bramcote found their own players with more ease and put some good moves together, with the centre court players, Emily, Nathalie and Anna working well together, but only managed to add two further goals after some tight defending from QM. In the final quarter QM got three great goals, but Bramcote held strong, adding two more goals to secure a winning score of 12 - 4. A good game, and a real team effort. Well done everyone.
