The 1st Netball team made a strong start to their game against Cundall taking an early 3 - 0 lead. Cundall came straight back at them with three long range shots. The Bramcote girls began to settle and played some fast and accurate netball. By half time we were leading 13 - 8.

The Cundall girls made us work hard to keep possession of the ball, making some good interceptions when we had moved too early for the pass. Emily and Olivia were on good shooting form and worked well in the circle together making some quick short passes to gain a better position. The defence were put under pressure by the Cundall shooters who were excellent at shooting from the edge of the circle, but Miranda and Camilla managed to get the rebounds more and more as the game went on. The centre court players were quick to transfer the ball into the attacking third with Emily Edwards, Anna and India all working well to create space for each other. Bramcote continued to extend their lead over the second half of the game, winning 23 - 15 by the final whistle. A great team performance and good to watch. Well done girls.
