At Bramcote we recognise that leisure time activities are as important as more academic pursuits in ensuring that your child develops as a well rounded individual. For the boarders, this means we do more than simply try to occupy them between the end of the school day and bedtime. Day pupils are also encouraged to make the most of the engrossing, interesting and constructive after hours activities we organise.
When formal lessons are over, Bramcote’s programme of activities will ensure that your child enjoys school life – all year round and seven days a week. Boredom is not part of our curriculum! Sports and crafts, quizzes and music are all included – and everything is well organised, fully supervised and designed to engage the imagination while building social skills and developing new interests.
Children have incredible imaginations and a great sense of wonder, and, at Bramcote, we try to sustain these for as long as possible through our structured programmes of events and activities. We offer something to engage every pupil and many have taken away from Bramcote a hobby or interest that stays with them for life. Life at Bramcote is extremely busy, but the children get a great sense of achievement and enjoyment in all they do.
Leisure time activities at Bramcote include sports and games of all kinds, trips to places of interest, theatre visits, walks and rambles, music, performing arts, creative arts – such as
painting and pottery – and a plethora of activities that ensure that every pupil feels they belong and can make friends who share their interests.
