Top Independent School benefits the local Community, by announcing free places for children in Sept 2010.
Bramcote School, the leading independent preparatory School, (rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted),
based in Scarborough, has just announced that it will be awarding two free places for talented
local children starting in September 2010.
In addition the School is offering the first term free, worth in the region of £3000, to all families
who enrol their children before 31 August 2010.
The School is totally self-contained in seven acres of land in the delightful South bay area of
Scarborough. It has excellent facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sports hall and five
acres of playing fields at its rear. It also operates a bus service from outlying towns and villages
which make it accessible to all in the region.
Chairman of Governors, Charles Ryan, said he hoped that all local parents would see
this as a wonderful opportunity and apply for these scholarships. “This is an excellent
opportunity for parents of local children, who might not have thought Bramcote was available to
them, to have the opening to a wealth of academic, creative, recreational and sporting
opportunities. This not only provides a strong foundation for learning, but also identifies and
develops a child’s individual talents.”
Bramcote School has benefited from a substantial re-financing which has helped to secure its
long term future in Scarborough. It will therefore be able to benefit children from the local area
for many years to come.
