Half Term Travel Arrangements – Friday 28th May to Wednesday 2nd June 2010
The half term begins on Friday 28th May at 12.30 pm and ends on Wednesday 2nd June at 8.00 pm (for boarders) or Thursday 3rd June at 8.25 am (for day pupils). Please find enclosed the travel arrangements for this exeat and inform Gina as soon as possible of any changes. Mobile phone numbers are on the travel arrangements so you can contact the various buses direct, if there is a problem.
Tubs and Planters required
The Pre-Prep is in urgent need of tubs and large planters for use in their gardening club. If you have any spare tubs or planters it would be very much appreciated if you could bring them in for Mrs Mary Stockill in Pre-Prep.
School Shop Open
We have made arrangements with Rawcliffes for the School Shop to be open more frequently, this term. These dates are published in the School Calendar and the next one is this coming Wednesday afternoon, from 3.30pm to 5.00pm.
Hot Weather
After the hot weather over the weekend I thought I would put in a little reminder about sun cream and school caps. The children are given sun tan cream to put on each day before games or it is sent with a member of staff for away matches, trips and outings. If you would prefer your child to use their own make, then please send in a bottle marked clearly with their name to Ann Snow. The school shop stocks summer caps and currently has plenty available.
Leavers’ Programme Letter
I am putting a copy of a letter from Neil Gardner to parents of children in Form VI who are leaving this year, to give them a brief outline of the leavers’ programme. A more detailed programme will be sent in due course.
