Dear Parents

Junior Production “The Victorian Historian” – Friday 19^th and Saturday 20^th March 2010

The Junior Production of “The Victorian Historian” will take place on Friday 19^th and Saturday 20^th March 2010.  Tickets are now available from the School office at £5 per ticket for adults, children are free.   The evening will start with performances from Mr Gardner’s Drama pupils at 6.30 pm.

The Bramcote Walk Revisited

Some years ago as part of the “Leavers Programme”, the pupils used to take part in a “Leavers Walk”. The OBS are planning to revisit the route of the “Bramcote Walk” on Saturday 24^th April 2010.  The full walk is a circular route of 36 miles, starting and finishing at School.  The OBS would be delighted if current parents and friends of the school would like to join them for all or part of the walk.  We are also planning on taking some of the pupils out to do sections of the walk on that day.    Further details available from Gina, who knows all about it as she has been busy re-walking the route and helping with the planning,  or Angus Hunter-Smart, who is the Old Bramcotian responsible for setting it up, on angushuntersmart@googlemail.com.

Golf (Summer Term Activity)

Golf Lessons will again be available throughout the Summer term.

Pupils will have lessons on Thursday afternoons from 1.45 to 2.45, with Ivan Oliver from South Cliff Golf Club.  The cost will be approximately £3 and all equipment is provided.  We will take the children up to the Golf Club.

If you are interested in your child(ren) having these lessons, would you please let Gina know as soon as possible.  Thank you.

Sports Equipment for the Summer Term

End of Term Disco

The “Friends” are organizing and “End of Term Disco” on Thursday 25^th March 2010.    The disco will run from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm for Junior pupils and from 6.30 to 8.30 for the Senior pupils.  The cost for this event will be £5.00 each which will include refreshments.
