Important Information
Car Parking
There are very limited numbers of spaces on our front car park. Please could I ask those parents who do find a space to only park within the marked lines. Should the car park be full, please can I ask parents to drive on, park and walk with their children from either Belvedere Road or Holbeck Hill. Thank you in anticipation of your co-operation with this.
New Pupils
It has been good to show several sets of prospective parents around the school and to have received some firm commitments for registration both in January and September 2010. Thank you to those current parents who have persuaded their friends and associates to come and look at Bramcote, Ann and I are always delighted to show them around. I make no apology for reminding all parents how important this is. Please do all you can to encourage anyone who might be interested in finding out more about the school to come and visit us.
Coffee morning
Ann will be providing coffee on Thursday morning (8.30am to 9.30am). This has been a good opportunity for parents to meet informally. All those who are able to call in, after dropping off their children, are most welcome.

Sunday Matches (8th November)
Chris Moxon will be bringing Under 11 boys and girls from Magdalene House School to Yorkshire for a Sports Tour on the weekend after Half Term (7th/8th November). They are staying overnight at Bramcote on the Saturday evening, and I have invited them to come in time to share in our Bonfire celebrations. There will be matches (Rugby and Hockey) on the following day. As it is Remembrance Sunday, these will begin at 12.30pm. I very much hope all Under 11s will be able to play. Please would parents contact John Horton, or Vicky Stewart, before Half Term, if this is a problem.
Weekend Activities
Ann and I were very pleased to take a group of ten members of Form IV to the Skills Weekend in Uppingham. They were a pleasure to be with and the many compliments they received proved that they were great ambassadors for the school. Above all, everyone seems to have had great fun!
Back in Scarborough, twelve children ran in the Scarborough Fun Run along the seafront. Well done to all of them, particularly to Nathanael Warwick who finished second in the race, which had over 300 entrants.
Swimming Success
Congratulations to Harry Exley-Moore who competed in the Yorkshire Swimming Championships this weekend and qualified for three finals.
