Music

Bramcote’s music department sets extremely high standards, with the emphasis being on enjoyment and participation. We firmly believe that music should be fun for your child.

We encourage pupils to learn at least one instrument, from a wide choice, and all musical tastes are catered for. There are also opportunities to join one of our school ensembles or choirs. Bramcote’s pupils achieve impressive results in Associated Board  and Rock School examinations and are regularly invited to give performances at public events.

Bramcote has two choirs, a Junior Choir and the more senior Chamber Choir. The Chamber Choir often performs at school events and also takes part in events in the outside community. In recent years, the Choir has gone on tour abroad to Rome, Venice and most recently, Salzburg. These tours have given the children the opportunity to perform in some very prestigious locations.
